THE 5 LEVELS OF INVOLVEMENT
In order to clarify how you can get involved in the in a way that suits you best, we have identified 5 levels of involvement.
Under each level we have listed 5 suggestions of how you can help the Karuna Unity grow.
PLEASE NOTE:
ALL Karuna Unity personnel are established vegans.
Level 1
• Follow us on Instagram and post a four-word comment whenever you can.
• Encourage other vegans to view our website and follow us on Instagram.
• Send us your favorite vegan recipe.
• Tell us of any celebrities that you know who are vegan
• Tell us of any vegan businesses, vegan charities, vegan animal sanctuaries or animal rescue shelters that you know of in your area
Level 2
• Offer your personal expertise, or a material resource, for occasional KU use
• Submit short articles that you have written for consideration for our newsletter. Such articles need to be vegan, and positive, in their genre
• Promote us on social media to your vegan friends and contacts
• Aim to invite one new vegan individual to join the KU each week.
• Host a KU ‘pot luck’ or party amongst vegans in your area
Level 3
• Volunteer to join a sub committee
• Communicate with other members of that committee at least once per week
• Invest an additional one hour per week doing work related to that sub committee
• Host a awareness and fund raising event in your area (we will supply you with guidance for this)
• Be a KU Ambassador wherever you go.
Level 4
• Volunteer to join a Secondary Committee
• Attend a 60 minute zoom meeting each week
• Invest an additional 90 minutes per week doing work for the development of the KU
• Join the KU message group for your committee
• Be a KU Ambassador wherever you go.
Level 5
• Volunteer to join the Karuna Unity Core committee or one of the Primary Committees
• Attend a 60 - 90 minute zoom committee meeting each week
• Currently invest a minimum of 3 hours per week doing work for the development of the Karuna Unity
• Be a KU Ambassador wherever you go
• Join the KU message group for your committee
